TECHNOLOGIES AND AUTOMATIC CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR
THE PROCESSES OF SINTERING AND BLAST-FURNACE PRODUCTION

AUTOMATIC SYSTEM OF CONTROL OVER
THE THERMAL CONDITIONS OF THE PROCESS.

The system's purpose is to control the functional condition of the cooled equipment, as well as to control and analyse the thermal conditions of the technological process.

The system's functions are:
  • to measure the temperature in the range from -50 to +200°C;
  • to accumulate and process the received values;
  • to record the events and accumulate the statistics;
  • to record the prehistory of emergency conditions development and to retain it for further processing and analysing;
  • to generate control signals according to the processing effect;
  • to indicate and generate the processed signals in the form suitable for the Customer.
Hardware:
  • temperature-sensitive elements produced by the RPC "Donix" with accuracy of measurement 0,1 degree;
  • programmable controllers with 8 access ports produced by the RPC "Donix";
  • personal computer (industrial version is possible);
  • uninterrupted power supply.
The controllers which are used in the system are of damp- and dustproof construction. The operating temperature range of the controller lies within -20 and +85°C. The length of the communication lines between the controller and the PC makes at the most 1000 m.

The system can process up to 255 controllers with up to 2040 access ports. The interrogation time of one controller makes at the most 0.1 second.

Software: software environment, written in "C++" language, functioning in the operational system MS DOS.

The system is introduced:
  • Blast-furnace N°3, Alchevsk Metallurgical Works - "System of control over the air tuyeres scorching";
  • Blast-furnace N°1, Makeevka Integrated Metallurgical Works - "System of control over the thermal condition of the coolers of the blast-furnace hearth and the blast-furnace bottom".
